Hemsworth released a statement (via THR) about his Limitless return, which you can check out below.
“Working on Limitless was an eye-opening experience that allowed me to reflect on my strengths, vulnerabilities, and all the ways in which we as humans can plan toward longevity. For this next season, we are attempting to raise the bar and go even deeper in this exploration alongside health and wellness experts from around the globe.”
The news of Limitless season two comes as part of the network’s Winter 2022 Television Critics Association Press Tour presentation, during which they also renewed both A Real Bug’s Life, which takes audiences into different micro bug worlds around the globe, and announced Shark Beach, which will be hosted by Hemsworth’s Marvel co-star Anthony Mackie.
Chris Hemsworth Shares Worrying Health Scare During Limitless Series
Chris Hemsworth revealed his worrying health scare during the fifth episode of his Limitless series.
The first season of Limitless sent Hemsworth “on an epic mission to discover how to live better for longer,” the synopsis reads. “With the help of world-class experts, family, and friends, he’s embarking on a series of immense challenges to push himself to new limits and stop the diseases of old age before they take hold. In this thrilling series from Executive Producer Darren Aronofsky, Chris discovers how we all can unlock our potential to stay fitter, healthier, and happier throughout our lives.”
The Disney-owned National Geographic series was created by Darren Aronofsky and Ari Handel.
Chris Hemsworth’s Next Action Movie Promises to Break ‘Some World Records’
While we await official confirmation of Hemsworth’s return as Thor in either a fifth solo outing or the upcoming Avengers movies, the actor has several big projects already in the pipeline. Hemsworth will join the twisted world of Mad Max in the prequel, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga. The actor will star as the villainous Warlord Dementus opposite Anya Taylor-Joy as Furiosa, with the story taking us back to the beginning. Check out the synopsis below.
“As the world falls, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and into the hands of a Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus. While two Tyrants war for dominance over the Citadel, Furiosa survives many trials as she plots a way back home through the Wasteland.”
Hemsworth will also continue to cement himself as one of the modern era’s biggest action stars. Following the release of the likes of Extraction and its sequel, Hemsworth will soon star alongside Oscar winner Sam Rockwell in a mysterious action flick from producer Matthew Vaughn. Vaughn recently teased the scope and the spectacle of the project, declaring that it will break “some world records in the process.”
“I’ve been producing a very, very special movie. I’m very excited about it. I just saw a half-an-hour cut together. This will have the same sort of impact as ‘Kick-Ass’ did. And I can’t talk too much about it yet… But it is a movie; I can say it is a movie that is written, directed, and starring my stunt team. It is a film like no movie that has ever been made. And it’s also got Chris Hemsworth and Sam Rockwell in it. Plus some other very, very interesting cameos.”
